COMPENSATION:
$16.40* p/hr
HOURS:
Full-time/10-months/Student days only
Hours- 8:40 am - 4:10 pm
DESCRIPTION:
Duties include working one-to-one with a student with autism who receives support in the classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.
*If student toileting is required, additional monetary amount based according on level.
Employment contingent upon personal care services being required for the student's individualized educational program.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks,
effectively communicate with both students and adults and be a positive role model for students.
PROCEDURE:
