Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Performance Management Analyst position based in Indianapolis, IN.

Purpose of this role is to maintain a descriptive and predictive raw material costing tool and its associated inputs and outputs.

Role and responsibility:

  • Product Owner Role for Raw Material costing tool.
  • Supports Procurement and business leaders' decision analysis.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends, share knowledge among teams and abide by industry best practices for configuration management and automation.
  • Conducts QA/QC, and leverages tools to generate ongoing and ad hoc analysis for Stakeholders
  • Refreshes required data, conducts quality reviews, and coordinates with Corteva stakeholders to add new Corteva molecules to the model or modify existing ones
  • Assist internal request process for systems upgrades. Defines project requests, rationale and return on investment with stakeholders.
  • Accountable for alignment of project scope, change management and prioritizing deliverables
  • Maintains the descriptive and predictive tool and associated inputs and outputs, including the current SQL-based model and the digitized platform
  • Responsible for ensuring technical governance, architecture, and implementation processes are fulfilled.
  • Documents business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, logical database design, user interfaces, reports, and business rules.
  • Brainstorm new products, updates, and solutions to continuously challenge and improve products, performance, system/data backup, security, and customer experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Continue to maintain the product with ongoing enhancements, tech improvements, and break/fix efforts.
  • Modifications for Power BI reports and MS Azure platform processes as needed, tweaks to data models with limited SQL modifications
  • Refreshes required data, conducts quality reviews, and coordinates with Corteva stakeholders to add new Corteva molecules to the model Performs Manual data extractions and loading, data validation, end user support and communications, BAT, communication with procurement
Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • 5+ years of data analysis experience, demonstrate advanced SQL skills (such as CTEs and work with data at different levels of a hierarchy)
  • Expertise working in Relational database management systems
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architectures. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Logic App and Power Automate
  • Experience in Power BI data visualization tools to present results in a compelling manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Macros (VBA/Office Scripts)
  • Understanding of plant operations, product routings and IBP processes
  • Familiarity with commodity chemical and agriculture market (value chains, major suppliers)
  • Familiarity with key inflationary and deflationary procurement data and improvement levers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audience
  • Project management and portfolio management skills
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills accompanied by strong presentation skills
  • Detail oriented, flexible, and responsive to change
  • Working knowledge of and ability to interpret contract structures for raw material suppliers
  • Experience conducting Enterprise analyses like GAP analysis and process modeling
  • Experience and Ability to interface with internal functional Subject Matter experts
  • Working Knowledge of Market Intelligence
  • Strong understanding of linear programming and deterministic modeling
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and knowledge of methodologies to manage. Knowledge of Agile methodology

Desirable:

  • Introductory knowledge of polymer and organic chemistry
  • Experience in the Chemicals industry
  • Preferred location: Indianapolis IN, Hybrid Remote role
