Job description

Seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Techno Functional Consultant with experience on the PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain v9.2 platform with the ability to assess business requirements, perform production support, troubleshoot defects, write test scripts, conduct testing, write specifications, maintain system configuration, and provide direct customer service.Duties & Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day application support Provide Technical support, with functional understanding, to resolve bugs in Production that are reported through help desk tickets using the ServiceNow platformExecute small enhancements and project requests with end-to-end ownership from requirements gathering to execution and deliveryContinuous self-improvement on latest PeopleSoft features and functionality to identify efficiencies and enhance existing processes, including delivery of Fluid enhancementsDevelop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and external systemsProvide functional and technical guidance to FSCM stakeholders to support all in-use modulesGather business requirements, solicit business processes, perform analysis, and document specifications and business rules to perform configuration and developmentAbility to translate business requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and test scriptsExperience working through software development lifecycle over multiple assignments under aggressive timelines Provide routine status updates to leads and stakeholders and meet project deadlines Exercise thorough and comprehensive software development methodologies Identify developmental or design risks and maintain knowledge of current technologies and practices to assist with consulting initiatives Participate in release decisions and establish measures of test efficiency, effectiveness, and application readiness Facilitate analysis of PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager images, gather and document business requirements based upon analysis, and develop scope for image release management Build and maintain relationships with key application stakeholders and users to identify improvements to process or function striving to increase end user satisfaction. Effectively work with business customers and project teams Ability to leverage test management tools and test automation toolsCreate and maintain documentation for business and technical audiences.Minimum Qualifications: Self-driven individual with the ability to assume ownership of work items and delivery of quality work product Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a combination of equivalent technical experience and education At least six (6) years of business experience, business/system analysis, and information technology experience Must have three (3) or more years of relevant experience on at least four (4) PeopleSoft Financial/Supply Chain modules: Procurement, General Ledger, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Commitment Control Strong proficiency with technical tools provided by PeopleSoft, including ability to write and execute SQL, such as PS Query, nVision, BI Publisher, Application Designer, Integration Broker, LDAP/Active Directory Integration Writing functional and technical design specifications Experience with PUM application Prior experience on projects with federal, state, or local government is desirable Ability to be on-site in Boston, MA on a quarterly basis or as requested by management Skills: Able to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at any one time, while maintaining high-quality standards. Demonstrated ability to deliver technical solutions for Oracle ERP PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management and ability to thrive in a team setting, quickly adaptable, and contributes high value to the project at hand Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written with technical and non-technical individuals across the organization including FMIS Team, Management, and business stakeholders Excellent time management and organizational skills Experience working with 3rd party hosting provider Ability to create detailed technical & functional documentation Preferred experience to include workflow management and implementation & security maintenance
