People Operations Generalist - Entry Level

People Operations Generalist start of pay range is $21.00 per hour. What would you do as People Operations Generalist?

For us, People Operations (P.Ops.) is about taking care of our employees and company. To this end, there is a need for you to be on-site while the majority of production individuals are present (Mon-Thurs) with some flexibility to your schedule. This would be discussed in the interview.

While you are at work, you would need to be accessible for employees to talk with you. This will mean that you will need to be able to go out into the production area with safety shoes and glasses on your person. The production area is well lit, clean, and climate controlled with friendly people to meet and help.

You would be a true generalist as this is only a 2-person department. Your boss has other responsibilities so you would carry the day-to-day load of payroll, benefits, attendance, recruiting, onboarding, training, etc. There is still plenty of opportunities to work on improvements to all things P.Ops. There would be an initial focus on performance communications, employee development, and recognition. As other projects arise, they would be added to the list.

Your boss will be there to support you with guidance, answers, and even take some of the heavy lift, if needed, but there is no micro-management. Projects are assigned through an initial conversation to talk through any goals or issues and where the manager may be needed. You would then have the autonomy to get the job done. There will be weekly one-on-one meetings to discuss projects, employee happenings, and any other topics necessary.

This is an opportunity for someone fresh to the HR field to enter and be exposed to all parts of the field. You would have to be driven enough to find the right solution for Bitrode and our employees. There would need to be plenty of communication from you to managers, supervisors, employees, and the Executive team.
