Job Title: Sr. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer
Industry: Space Flight / Aerospace
Pay: 65.00 – 78.00 per hour
Job Desc:
We are seeking an ambitious, hardworking PCB designer to design state-of-the-art rigid, rigid-flex and flex designs. Our team is primarily focused on the development of cutting edge board designs for use in wide ranging applications from spacecraft electronics to small medical devices. You'll be joining a deeply knowledgeable team of designers dedicated to developing high quality printed circuit designs. You will provide vital contributions within a highly collaborative team environment in a newly opened contemporary facility
Work with multiple engineering disciplines to define design parameters for a given board in accordance with established processes. Use tools such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition and Altium Designer to generate library parts, schematics, layout geometries, BOMs, assembly drawings, and fabrication files for the design.)
Work with technical staff supporting the fabrication and assembly of the designs providing expertise and assistance on design tools and design for manufacturing techniques.
Responsible for the integrity and archival of the design/manufacturing data into a product life management system.
Required Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
8 years of experience using Siemens Mentor Graphics Xpedition and Altium Designer CAD tools.
Command of design techniques for varied stackup definitions, impedance control, differential pairs, DDR routing, high current routing/spacing and analog/RF designs.
Have familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes for high reliability and prototype printed circuit boards.
Experience in schematic capture and manipulation.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task across several projects.
Foster teamwork and open communication across multiple technical disciplines.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's or equivalent.
Awarded the Advanced Certification Interconnect Designer (CID+) from IPC.
Have experience with Hyperlynx
