The Role
We provide a flexible work environment that requires presence in the office four days a week. This position can be located in San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Chesapeake, VA; Plano, TX or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation support is not available for this role.
The Product Management Director – Telematics Analytics will be hands-on, diving deep into analytical research on production trends and financial outcomes to enhance the understanding, management, and enhancement of Telematics products.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with large datasets to analyze state-specific P&L and marketing strategy, influencing P&L results.
- Mentoring executives on financial and customer-related issues leveraging various data sources like SAS, SQL, Tableau, and R.
- Leading the design, development, and maintenance of P&C insurance products to deliver value and collaborate effectively with business partners.
- Establishing partnerships to develop insights and execute multi-year state strategies, as well as maintaining relationships with regulators and industry organizations.
- Conducting data analytics to identify growth opportunities and provide key learnings on membership views.
- Crafting complex reports using data tools to monitor business performance and communicate results.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define key performance indicators, and evaluate performance.
- Conducting market analysis and evaluating product performance metrics to support decision-making at the regional/national level.
- Mentoring team members and ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field; or 4 years of relevant experience substitute for a degree.
- 8 years of product/program management experience analyzing data and making recommendations, or an advanced degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
- 4 years of P&C experience.
- Extensive experience in presenting to executive leadership and conducting product analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and knowledge of product regulations and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL, Essbase, Tableau, Snowflake.
- Experience with CWH, ADS, MPMS data.

Compensation: USAA offers competitive salaries based on market data and your experience. Salary for this role ranges from $120,550 to $216,990.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
