General Purpose:
The Remote PBX Operator primary responsibility is to capture as many golf and tennis package reservations as possible; by utilizing selling techniques effectively and reaching out to past guests. The ideal candidate would be courteous, self-motivated and detail oriented. A Remote Golf & Tennis Group Coordinator team member must have a primary address within 50 miles of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at all times.
Essential Duties:
• Assist guests by selling reservations based on particular guest needs.
• Generate & negotiates contracts and agreements with individual group planners.
• Setup billing to include golf or tennis packages or special billed extras.
• Work closely with and maintain positive relationship with other employees in golf and tennis departments.
• Make tee times and necessary preparations for golfers
• Communicate accurate program/event participant numbers with tennis, book value added tennis clinics & round robins for guests.
• Promptly follow up with guest inquiry leads for second chance bookings.
• Answer telephone calls and emails in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain potential and current guest profile information.
• Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations.
• Must have strong ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
• Deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.
• Effectively manage daily correspondences and operational tasks to exceed customer expectations and expand customer base.
• Display effective computer literacy and be familiar with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Possess a positive and upbeat attitude at all times.
• Professional customer service nature with a desire to exceed. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to be part of high growth, fast paced business.

Education:
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of high-volume call center experience in a metric-driven environment is required. Previous experience with TRACK Pulse and/ or Springer-Miller Systems (SMS) preferred.
Basic Required Skills:
o Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
o Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
o Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
o Must maintain clear and concise documentation and positive approach to conflict resolution.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to sit for several hours per day.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
