Palm Beach Shores Resort & Vacation Villas is seeking candidate for PBX Operator - Sign on bonus at time of hire!
Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Answer all incoming calls and transfer to appropriate department. Expedite all calls with requests or issues to the appropriate department or room to make it right and to place a follow up call to guests. Implement wake-up calls. Shop area hotels for rate and occupancy. Fax and receive various documents. PBX operator functions as the home base for communication between departments & MOD's.

- Always maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment, ensuring that employees are, always, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees.
- Deal with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
- Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
- Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
- Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings of Front Office personnel.
- Log and follow up on guest making it right tracking logs, early departures, wake up calls.
- Keep Front Desk Manager informed of any challenges and changes in the departments, or any out of the ordinary situations.
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
Experience: One to two years of customer service experience is required. Timeshare or Resort management experience highly desirable. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; communicate effectively at all levels; and demonstrate the ability resolve problems. Must possess significant computer software program experience.
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Flexible Scheduling:
Must be able to work Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.
