We are hiring a Payroll/HR Administrator for South Charlotte Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC.
- Earn over $50,000 annually (depending on experience level)
Our ideal Payroll/HR Administrator candidate will have:
- Automotive payroll knowledge
- Payroll/HR experience in PayComm, Paycor, or Hireology
- Knowledge of all federal and state wage and hour laws
- Experience with commission-based payroll

Job Description for Payroll/HR Administrator position:
- Process payroll for Hourly, Salary and Commissioned employees through a third party payroll system Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly and Monthly.
- Maintain Work In Process
- Maintain confidential payroll records and employee files
- Process candidates through the back ground screening; ordering background checks and drug screens.
- Track and manage employee transactions – transfers, rehires and terminations
- Track and manage all employee benefits; Medical, Dental, Visions, LTD, STD, Life and 401k.
- Interact with store personnel to resolve issues
Requirements for Payroll/HR Administrator position
- Payroll / Accounting experience
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- Must be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues
- Must have good customer service and overall understanding of accounting
- Possess strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
