Key Responsibilities
Payroll
Oversee the complete payroll process using UKG for all employees.
Generate crucial financial reports and reconcile payroll accounts monthly.
Maintain meticulous records for new hires, terminations, and changes to employee details.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Provide responsive support for employee inquiries related to payroll.
Benefits and Total Rewards
Assist in the design implementation, and management of competitive benefit and compensation programs.
Ensure seamless benefits administration including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and COBRA administration, coordinating with payroll.
Perform regular audits of benefits and payroll, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Spearhead our Wellness Program, creating events that promote employee health.
HR Operations and Compliance
Support the Talent Acquisition team with candidate screening and hiring processes.
Lead new hire orientations and manage the onboarding process.
Direct our Rewards and Recognition Program, fostering a culture of appreciation.
Drive the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Stay ahead of HR trends and legal requirements to ensure full compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A minimum of 2-5 years of payroll processing and HR experience and deep knowledge, eager to transition into a broader HR role.
Alternatively, if you have minimal/no payroll experience but have at least 1 year of HRIS (management, UAT, configuration, implementation, etc.) and/or analyst related experience, have intermediate excel experience (v-lookup, pivot tables, if/then statements), and have a learning mindset and exceptional critical thinking skills, we invite you to apply.
BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems, showcasing a strong aptitude for technology and data management.
Experienced with UKGPro and semimonthly payroll, particularly with commissioned employees, is a notable advantage.
Demonstrates a proactive ability to learn and grow, coupled with adaptability and flexibility in various HR functions.
Possesses strong process management and detail orientation skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Exhibits accountability and collaboration within the HR team, fostering a cohesive working environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, including senior team members, executives, and vendors.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling adept handling of complex HR-related inquiries.
