Paving Superintendent - Heavy Civil

Heavy Civil Construction Experience Required - Santa Clarita, CA

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with the construction management team to develop project budgets and schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and progress
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction estimating
- Familiarity with project management software such as HeavyBid, Prolog, or similar tools
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control principles

Salary: $84,304.44 - $160,000.00 per year
