Pattern Maker

- Create and develop patterns for garments based on design specifications
- Use mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain pattern-making equipment
- Utilize machining techniques to fabricate pattern pieces
- Collaborate with designers and garment technicians to ensure accurate pattern construction
- Make adjustments and modifications to patterns as needed
- Sew and assemble prototype garments to test fit and functionality
- Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to patterns

- Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties
- Proficient in pattern-making techniques and drafting skills
- Experience operating sewing machines and other pattern-making equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret design specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make adjustments on the fly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers and garment technicians

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
