Overview

Tek Experts is looking for a Partner Advocate- CED Specialist who will engage with a portfolio of Cloud partners to accelerate Cloud competency attainment, sales reach, and frequency. In this role, you'll help articulate MPN benefits, facilitate one-on-one sessions with technical experts, and build awareness for profitable Cloud workloads/scenarios through specific partner campaign-based activities.

The role will operate within the Microsoft CAPS business unit under the management of the CAPS - Partner Advocate Frontline - Senior Specialist. It can be based in Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Rwanda, the USA, Portugal, Romania, or India.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partner relationship and profiling, driving Cloud capability and capacity, growing Cloud revenue and MPN benefit consumption while orchestrating internal and external resources.
  • Drive partner commitment, reaching partner revenue growth and benefit utilization targets while delivering high satisfaction in a fast-paced and highly accountable environment.
  • Quickly establish relationships and develop rapport with customers of different experience levels with products.
  • Articulate compelling cause-and-effect relationships between the products, solutions, and services and improvements in the partner business process.
  • Become a trusted advisor by sorting information and data, extracting pertinent information.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of primary competitor services and technologies.
  • Establish regular business reviews with partners to monitor progress and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Check partner benefit consumption, renewal dates, and upcoming program changes, proactively identifying opportunities for partners to improve the use of their benefits and avoid future issues with their membership.
  • Manage the commercial relationship with a defined set of partners, understanding business needs, defining related solutions, identify conditions of satisfaction, etc.
  • Be an advocate for the competency partner, understand their needs, and work towards a resolution by identifying potential offerings synergies and promoting them.
  • Articulate the benefits of products, competencies, licensing, and services available and identify opportunities to upsell Microsoft products and services.
  • Effectively communicate the long-term project strategy and its relevance to the partner developing and validating a vision to meet current or future needs.
  • Act as a "business advisor", evangelizing practices that are appropriate for the partner's needs and business model.
  • Act as a "marketing manager", supporting proposed marketing goals including the proper use of Microsoft partner marketing materials and incentive funding on the right set of activities.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in online advertising) is a plus.
  • Students (2nd semester of a professional, technical, or technological career track) of computer science or related field are preferred.
  • Preferred to complete required Microsoft Technical Certification (MCP certification) in 4-6 months.
  • At least 1 year of customer support or service experience is required for B2B roles, while 6 months of customer support or service experience is required for B2C roles.
  • Call center experience with Microsoft Office products and services, or customer service experience in a complex setting (critical services, complex processes, etc.) is preferred.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Account and Customer Portfolio Management activities is an advantage.
  • Strong sales and business communication skills, both written and spoken. Passion for sales and technology, along with an eagerness to drive the company's growth.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences ranging from technical managers to CIOs of small to medium businesses.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of outstanding performance. Strong analytical aptitude, ability to scope complex scenarios, and identify and solve multiple embedded issues.
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on established guidelines, deliver bad news, and handle difficult or irate customers/partners effectively.
  • Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity. Eager to learn and acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strong cross-business collaboration and relentless focus on the customer experience.
  • Familiarity with the latest sales techniques and tools is a plus, including experience in retail sales, corporate internships, or entrepreneurial programs.
  • Near native proficiency of the supported language (s) (C1-C2 CEFR level) is required.
  • Professional fluency in English (a minimum level of B2 CEFR) is essential, both written and spoken.
