Part-time Virtual BCBA in South Carolina

Are you a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking for a part-time opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Virtual School-Based BCBA in South Carolina. This is a part-time position with the flexibility of an independent contract, allowing you to contribute your expertise to the field of applied behavior analysis while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students in virtual school settings.
2. Provide training and support to school staff, teachers, and parents in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
3. Collaborate with school teams to design and implement behavior support plans that align with individual student needs.
4. Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
5. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute behavior analytic expertise to the development of IEP goals.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
7. Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and special education teachers, to provide comprehensive support for students.

Qualifications:

1. Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
2. Experience working with students in a virtual or school-based setting.
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
4. Ability to work independently and remotely.
5. Knowledge of and experience with applied behavior analysis principles.
6. Understanding of special education laws and regulations.
7. Current licensure in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain).
