SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs general production duties according to the company's packaging, material handling, and shipping specifications.

2nd Shift hours of 2pm to 10:30pm Attend any OJT (on-the-job training) required for each individual type of equipment used as part of your job.
This includes meeting the minimum required hours of use for that equipment and being signed off by your trainer and manager.
OJT sign off is a must before you are cleared to use the equipment.
Perform all general production duties which include but are not limited to: labeling, capping, and filling containers as described in the PPS (Packaging Process Specification); and maintaining weight and filling volume records for products.
Read and understand the PPS for packaging instructions, material handling, and shipping procedures.
Use hand truck, pallet jack, or other equipment to load, unload, move, or stack materials or products.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform any tasks and/or production duties as requested by management.
Must be able to be cross trained to back up the 2nd Shift Machine Operator as needed
Safety shoes (toe protection/slip resistant) and PPE must be worn at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus. Minimum of two years of experience in same or associated field.
Good communication skills required. Must be able to interpret/understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions.
Must have pallet jack experience; forklift certification preferred (training will be provided)
