Overhead Crane Technician

OMI Cranes has immediate openings in openings in Dallas/Forth Worth TX area for an experienced and motivated overhead crane field technician, servicing the North Texas and Oklahoma areas. Highly qualified and experienced candidates will be eligible for a sign on bonus at time of hire.

OMI is a 24/7 service company performing:

• Inspections
• Repairs
• Modifications
• Installations of overhead cranes
• Installations of jibs
• Installations of hoists

Qualifications:

• Overhead crane service experience is required
• Excellent knowledge of 230/460v AC magnetic controls, motors, mechanical drive trains
• Understanding of the operation of radio and variable frequency controls. responsible for detailed paperwork and reporting procedures punctual and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Overnight travel, overtime and weekend work will be required when and as needed.
• Applicants must have their own tools, a detailed list of required tools will be provided during the interview process.
• Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment.
