JOB SUMMARY:
PSG strives to provide quality mental health services to clients who aren't always able to access them. We are trauma-informed and approach all clients and employees through this lens. We work hard to create and maintain a supportive culture, while going above and beyond for our clients.
The Outpatient / In Home Therapist works with individuals with mental, emotional or substance abuse problems, primarily through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. Our program provides assessment and therapy services to youth and families participating in internal agency programs, as well as referrals received from a variety of sources (i.e. physicians, courts, schools, social service agencies, etc.).
We hire fully licensed therapists and individuals working to gather the hours necessary for full licensure. We provide the supervision required for licensure, and give our licensed therapists additional group supervision time for collaboration and support. Come join our team!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
- Formulate, implement, evaluate and review client treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy in accordance with treatment plans.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or group counseling.
- Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients.
- After training is complete, Therapists are added to the on-call rotation to monitor occasional after-hours calls.
LOCATION/HOURS: Office is based in Janesville, WI. Position will travel to meet with clients located throughout Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson counties, with flexibility to work remote when in-person meetings are not scheduled. Hours are flexible and will include some evening hours to accommodate client schedules.

SALARY: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Requirements
- Must have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field.
- Wisconsin State licensure or be working towards licensure.
- Must possess valid driver's license, personal automobile insurance, and have reliable transportation on a daily basis.
