Job Summary: The Order Processing / Customer Service Associate position is a vitally important position within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Customer Service and Order Processing including a working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Critical to the role is the ability quickly learn and understanding Order Processing software and the use of electronic data interchange for receiving customer POs and transmitting Advanced Ship Notices, Invoices, etc. electronically. The position also involves handling customer inquiries and issues with a high degree of professionalism with the goal of building longer term customer relationships. Personal & Professional Requirements for the Order Processing/Customer Service Position: Outstanding English communication skills Conflict resolution Critical think and problem-solving skills Adaptability / Flexibility Ability to work with minimal supervision Decision making efficiency Planning and organization Attention to detail Time Management Associates degree in business/accounting and Customer Service training is preferred Working knowledge of QuickBooks/Accounting Proficient with data entry / computer use Proficient use of MicroSoft Office applications Able to pass a drug screen and background check Minimum of 1-year Customer Service experience required High school diploma or G.E.D. required Ability to maintain grace under pressure Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, services and promotions. Order Processing & Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): Responsible for processing customer orders and providing shipping documents and package labels to Packaging & Shipping Lead. Ability to learn customer routing guides and efficiently utilizing EDI to receive POs and transmit related documents and other customer information through EDI portal. Organize daily work volume in order to maximize order shipping efficiency and data entry in accounting software. Customer Service: The EGO brand is known for exceptional Customer Service and It is essential to be able to address customer inquiries and issues in an efficient and expert manner.
