ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering customer orders into ERP system.
- Order expediting for the sales department.
- Work order creation& scheduling for warehouse.
- Fielding customer service inquiries regarding orders, primarily through email.
- Ensuring all orders will arrive on time and within budget.
- Planning and documenting all aspects of a specific project.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to self-organize/prioritize to manage multiple deadlines, and the ability to think quickly while handling demanding situations.
- Candidate must have the ability to multi-task daily duties while remaining flexible and willing to take on last-minute tasks.
- Prior customer service and/or project management experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or light manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving/decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be dedicated, with a high degree of integrity.
THE LOCATION:
Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth. Warehouse located off of IL Route 41, which makes the commute easy from surrounding towns.
