Job description

Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership.

This role is a Group Manager role within the CAO organization. The position is located in Tucson, AZ.

This leader is primarily responsible for ensuring the offer design management

(SKU/Item set-up) and order management operations functions are working accurately, efficiently, and aligned with our business growth. This person will be an experienced

manager who will lead the team that works closely with business and functional partners throughout Intuit to drive the strategies to attain those goals.

The team is comprised of operations managers, business analysts, and order specialists. This is a highly visible and exciting role in the Finance controllership group ensuring successful end-to-end processing of customer transactions across all core product lines globally in service to Intuit’s overall growth, while maintaining compliance and financial integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to organize self and team to deliver against critical objectives and priorities. They will be able to navigate difficult issues and individuals successfully and align stakeholders in service to a common outcome. This leader will be able to independently design and implement strategies, operating mechanisms, and organize/deploy

resources to plan for organizational capacity at scale. This leader will leverage his/her business acumen and influence to tackle tough challenges and transform operations from an end-to-end perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the order management team to ensure timely resolution of issues and accurate reporting.
  • Understand the end-to-end operational, financial, and systemic environment and key upstream and downstream processes that drive customer and financial
  • impacts.
  • Drive strategy to support new offerings and business changes. Mobilize team towards more complete automation of order to cash Stay connected to current business and offering strategies.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of business levers combined with program leadership to deliver customer and business growth opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely set-up of items/offerings in our primary billing platforms (oBill, eBiz, dBill); for new offer on-boarding, pricing and promotions, pricing changes and year-over-year item/pricing setup.
  • Proactively monitor and manage order exceptions, including new issue
  • identification, root cause analysis, while partnering with technology teams to eliminate, reduce and minimize.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish metrics to track success and SLAs, monitor overall effectiveness of the operations.
  • Drive the development of strategies with internal and external partners to
  • improve operations effectiveness and scalability, including the development and execution of organizational, process and system changes.
  • Proactively anticipates risks and opportunities informed by data to achieve the best Exercise good judgment in managing end to end operational risk with appropriate transparency.
  • Ensure proper oversight of activities of the staff and develop the team to deliver results along with their own personal leadership growth. Foster a team environment that encourages trust, accountability, and excellence in delivery.
  • Attract, develop, motivate, and retain talent within own team and at times in the broader CAO organization.
  • Proactively lead and influence cross-functionally and at all levels of Cultivate strong relationships with leaders in Accounting, Finance, and across the Business to facilitate timely, high-quality decision-making in connection with operational and financial matters.
  • Implement and maintain the required process and internal control environment and perform control procedures to ensure compliance with Company policy.
  • Makes decisions based on data and drive end-to-end outcomes independently. Transparently communicate decisions, trade offs, plans, goals and strategies across multiple organizations to ensure alignment to the objectives and teams to do their jobs effectively.
  • Executes to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, efficient decision making, and individual/team accountability with focus on speed to benefit.
  • Works well through ambiguity, with confidence in making tough calls and leading through adversity with a sharp focus on driving the right outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance/Operations Management with minimum of 10 years’ post-graduate experience, or equivalent MBA highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial operations and reporting for large Fintech, SEC filers in high-growth industries. Software or SaaS industry experience a plus.
  • Prior management experience is Experience managing teams of 5-10 resources with varying levels of experience. Ability to keep team members engaged and motivated while delivering high quality results.
  • Superior customer relationship management (CRM) and financial systems knowledge and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Strong end-to-end process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving Proactively address issues, own the outcome, and continuously strive for best-in-class processes and deliverables.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision making that takes into account the interests of all four key stakeholders – employees, customers, shareholders, and partners
  • Excellent interpersonal Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and at all levels of management. Effectively navigates social dynamics of teams, groups, and organizations.
  • Proven leadership, change management, and process management skills,
  • including the ability to think and lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Confidence, good judgment, energy, and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management and across business units and functions.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, time prioritization, resource deployment, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation and influencing skills, including the ability to elevate issues to the right level internally and externally to resolve. Superior ability to clearly articulate a point of view and adjust communication style and content to suit audience Frames complex issues into simple stories.
