SUMMARY
Accomplishes Inside Sales and Customer Service objectives by maintaining and continuing to develop a) customer satisfaction, b) RFQ responsiveness, c) support the FY sales plan and supervise the customer service order entry staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accomplishes Inside Sales and Customer Service objectives by providing a Customer Service department with excellent order entry capabilities, responsive and accurate quotations, quick response to customer complaints and an outstanding “first contact”.
- Oversee training, assigning orders, scheduling, and supervising the Customer Service Order Entry team.
- Set and communicate job expectations; plan and monitor KPIs, ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor customer perceptions by determining awareness of products and services.
- Develop and sustain customer relationships by analyzing customer's needs and requirements
- Build trust and brand awareness by providing excelling customer service leading customers to select AGC Multi Material America, Inc. as their preferred supplier.
- Resolve customer complaints by planning and guiding the receipt, investigation, analysis, and settlement of complaints with corrective actions, keeping the customer well informed by proactively working with the Quality Manager and the Quality Department.
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis by answering inquiries on status of quotations, order updates, and general questions.
- Protect organization's value and reputation by keeping company and customer information confidential.
- Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and actively engage in professional organizations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, coaching, promoting teamwork and performance management.
- Ability to focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
- Capable of explaining product features and benefits as well as technical specifications.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Proficient in Office 365 with strong Excel data reporting.
- Experience in Oracle or similar software.
- This position requires a minimum of an AA Degree. BA preferred or 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in the English language is required for all roles.
REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING
AGC follows all required OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standard industry guidelines in-regards to the use of personal protective equipment and safety training required for the specific job function.
