Providing technical development for applications and third-level support to business users

Closely liaise with business users and Business Analysts to understand the functional requirements and develop technical solutions

A dynamic and international team of developers working from Wroclaw and New York to support strategic change projects and enhancements for continuous improvements

Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain a variety of web-applications using Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Technologies (.NET, C# etc.) and Databases (Oracle/SQL Server)

Design data acquisition, transformation and load processes from a variety of data sources using ETL tool Informatica required for liquidity and regulatory reporting

Essential

4+ years' experience as a technical developer, including 2 years of extensive application development experience

Strong relational database development experience - especially Oracle (PL/SQL, packages, procedures, tuning) or MS SQL Server

Strong Oracle business intelligence (OBIEE) development experience

Able to quickly design and mock-up dashboard based on user requirements

Understanding of database warehousing concepts

Demonstrated abilities for drafting detailed technical designs from functional specifications

Conduct performance analysis and optimize data processes. Make recommendations for continuous improvement of the data processing environment

Ability to perform technical code reviews for self and peers.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in international team of developers and act as a mentor and coach to junior team members

Desirable

Understanding of Unix scripting

Experience with database warehousing and ETL tools like Informatica

Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies

Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, specially scrum is desirable

Experience of working with source control tools (Subversion, Source Safe, etc.)

Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline, or comparable industry experience
