FULL TIME OPTICAL INVENTORY CLERK

Nevada Eye Physicians has seven locations in the Las Vegas area. We are part of a large network of practices called Comprehensive EyeCare Partners. Check us out at www.comp-eyecare.com. Nevada Eye Physicians is in the Las Vegas Medical District, Henderson, Boulder City, Mesquite, Pahrump Centennial and Las Vegas Southwest.
Our Optical Inventory Clerks are responsible to maintain frame inventory for all our locations and help support each location with ordering supplies from vendors, assist with other tasks day-to-day optical business activities such as incoming phone calls, patient services, optical team/providers support, and perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Optical Manager. We require patience, positivity, and productivity.
This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication and integrity
A successful candidate for OPTICAL INVENTORY CLERK has the following:
- A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
- A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (experience in optometry preferred)
- Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Proven Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, technicians, physicians, and outside departmental staff
- Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
- Able to remain focused and organized
- Able to stand with mobility for extended periods of time
- Ability obtain sufficient references and background check to perform the duties of the position.
- The Ability to register with the state of Washington in their apprenticeship program.
- The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
- An interest in self education and career growth. This is not a job; it is a healthcare career.
