High school diploma or GED. Continuous employment in the county service and three years of experience as a Bus Body Shop Technician; or two years as a Bus Body Shop Technician and one year of supervisory experience are required. Must possess a CDL/Class B with Air Brake Passenger Endorsement.
The Department of Transportation and Public Works classification of DTPW Operations/Maintenance Instructor (Body Shop) performs safety-sensitive functions and is subject to the provisions of the Federal Transit Administrations (FTA) Drug and Alcohol Regulations. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.
