FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for implementing, testing and monitoring Quality Control processes and procedures for the Operations Department. This includes accuracy of system interfaces, data file reviews, and CORE system acceptance of deposit, loan and Fintech accounts. Performs system, workflow, and process problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution. Able to determine errors by miscalculations, deal setup or incorrect procedures. Also included is the review of wires and transactions originated from the digital channel. Will participate in team projects where new products or system interfaces are updated.

Reports to: Manager-Electronic Services
Supervises: None
Contacts: All levels of credit union employees, internal and external auditors, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 3 years operational and/or lending experience required. General knowledge of consumer and real estate lending with an understanding of Bellco's underwriting guidelines, general knowledge of loan operating systems and strong working knowledge of DNA. Loan auditing and HMDA experience required.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Demonstrates Bellco's Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.
2. Consistently suggests ways to improve the member/customer experience through improved processes and technology.
3. Conducts investigations of fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities that could cause losses to or claims against the credit union.
4. Performs review on all system interfaces that have automated deposit or loan accounts being uploaded to CORE. These interfaces include Velocity, CUDC, Temenos, Online Banking, and Fintechs etc.
5. Performs manual review of Real Estate system interface to verify automated uploading of loan accounts for accuracy to include QA review of mortgages acquired through correspondent channel.
6. Conduct quality control reviews of customized reports to ensure accuracy. Log and report findings in a clear and organized fashion. Validate document batches are completed to limit risk exposure, and frontline impact due to missing or unindexed required documents. Work directly with internal teams to resolve deviations and other compliance issues in a timely manner.
7. Performs system, workflow, and process problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution. Able to determine errors by miscalculations, deal setup or incorrect procedures.
8. This includes participation in team projects where new products or system interfaces are updated.
9. Creates needed reports to review and analyze core data for accuracy, communicates and tracks all follow-up items through to completion.
10. Develops, reviews, recommends, and establishes procedures to detect and prevent the occurrence of deposit account errors, or conflicts with a loan, collateral or documentation.
11. Collaborates with Training, S3, and/or frontline for process improvement changes or training needs.
12. Perform and assist in providing documentation for internal and external auditors and examiners.
13. Ensures all laws, regulations and policies and procedures of the Credit Union are being followed including but not limited to all HMDA, Reg Z, Truth in Lending, and TILA RESPA requirements.
14. Represents Bellco on project teams as needed, to determine relevant quality assurance needs to the functional area.
15. Regular and punctual attendance.
