OPERATIONS MANAGER – GREETING ASSOCIATE NEEDED FOR GROWING GYM!
The family-owned Pensacola Athletic Center (PAC) has been serving Pensacola since 1985! What started as a simple indoor fitness facility has ultimately grown into a 10,000 sq ft fitness facility; complete with childcare, a 25-meter lap swimming pool, outdoor basketball/pickleball courts, an outdoor gym, and six clay tennis courts. Shawn Karai our current owner, and the General Manager Matt McMillan, helped bring many of the new changes the PAC boasts today.
Want to be a part of our growth?! We are currently looking for a Operations Manager-Greeting Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a warm friendly smile and an outgoing personality, in addition to computer skills and the ability to sell our membership packages. The candidate must be able to work 20-35 hours per week, which would include some Saturday morning shifts. Prior gym experience is preferred, but not absolutely necessary. Most importantly, a desire to serve others and the willingness and ability to learn and grow!
Qualifications:
- Must show demonstrated experience in managing daily tasks, and multi-tasking
- College Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in customer service and sales is required, gym experience preferred
- Proficiency in using computer and standard office applications is a must
- Desire to work in a team environment and must work well with others
- MUST smile a lot, dress for success and have a desire to better yourself on a daily basis!
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager with duties including but not limited to, sales, front desk operations, customer service satisfaction, office management and other clerical tasks.
Position may include closing and/or opening the facility; therefore, dependability and punctuality is an absolute necessity. TRUST is also paramount. References demonstrating the ability to be trusted is a requirement. The ideal candidate must possess data entry & desktop publishing skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to handle multiple phone lines, work in a fast-paced environment and make a great first impression….again, dress for success and smile at all times!
If Full-time:
Schedule: Monday to Friday 11 am - 8 pm. Some Saturdays – from 9 am – 2 pm.
If Part-time:
Schedule: Monday to Friday 11 pm - 4 pm. Some Saturdays – from 9 am – 2 pm.
Pay: Varies based on Experience & Necessary Skills. We are looking for those who want to grow with our company, not just looking for a job. So pay shall be commensurate with experience and time on the job.
