Job Title: OnsiteIT Assistant/ Help Desk

Summary: Support the IT System Analyst in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyze system logs and identify potential problems with computer systems.
Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
Perform routine audits and backups of systems and software.
Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Install and configure new hardware and software.
Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
Changing configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Organize and maintain IT resources.
Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.

Education/Experience:
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or completion of an IT program at a reputable technical or trade school.
Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet software.
Certificates and Licenses:
Certifications a plus but not required.
