Job Description
Looking for a qualified and well-organized individual as a full time Online Auction and in-store Salesperson for a street front retail vintage store in downtown Las Vegas.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Responsible for setting up all facets of an online auction including start and end dates, cataloguing, photographing items for bid, creating detailed item descriptions and assessing the general value of each item.
- Responsible for all in-store and online inventory
- Work directly with the online auction houses such as LiveAuctioneers
- Familiar with all auction policies and procedures as well as shipping, billing, and payment process
- Work closely with the store manager in selecting items for auction and maintaining proper inventory.
- Provide general support for the retail and sales aspect of the business.
- Assist clients with purchases, merchandising and participating in daily operations
- Vetting all consignments and accepting only appropriate items
- Handling client inquiries and object assessments
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration or a sales related field preferred
- 3+ years retail sales and online auction experience
- Proficiency in Square Up preferred
- Acumen with numbers
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of vintage/antique valuations
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
