Medical Director, Oncology Service Line at Ascension St. Vincent
As part of a statewide oncology strategy, Ascension St. Vincent has an immediate opening for a BC/BE oncologist.
We are seeking to recruit a full time, practicing oncologist to provide personalized care to patients with all cancer types in both a clinic and hospital setting. In addition to a full-time practice, this position will include a medical directorship with the oncology service line and act as a dyad partner with the VP of oncology. This role will help in the development and implementation of the statewide strategic plan. To start, we expect the position to be 80% clinical, 10% administrative and 10% strategic/mission but could change as the program and staffing grows.
We are looking for a high energy, experienced candidate with a growth, strategic, program development and patient focused mindset. Our ideal candidate must have the time and willingness to put in non-clinical hours to network, market and build the practice into a collaborative and cohesive group of approximately 4 medical oncologists and 3 advanced practice providers at the 86th Street ministry.
Currently three of our four Indiana ministries are staffed by AMG for medical oncology. The Medical Director would be responsible for bringing these four, current ministry physician practices together as one AMG oncology practice covering the 4 cancer centers. Growth is planned for additional sites.
