About this role

We are looking for an Enterprise Logistics Coordinator to join our team! This role operates in various high-stakes environments around the country. Eventually, there could be an opportunity to manage operations remotely, but some projects will arise that will require heavy travel.

The first on-site project you will be staffed on is a project in Springfield, IL. CharterUP is responsible for covering shift hours between 7:00 AM to 10 PM CDT, 7 days per week. 

Compensation and Benefits

  • $75,000 annual ($67,500 base salary plus $625 per month bonus for heavy travel)

What You’ll Do

  • Cover shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM to 10 PM CDT between 5 to 7 days a week
  • Provide on-the-ground and remote oversight of large-scale logistically complicated trips
  • Liaison between operators on our platform and high-value clients
  • Manage trip allocation to suppliers
  • Track and analyze supplier performance
  • Be subject matter expert for all logistics and charter bus operations
  • Maintain supplier relationships and develop relationships with new vendors
  • Be able to handle emergency requests

What You’ll Need

  • Be located in, or willing to relocate to, Springfield, IL or one of its surrounding cities for the duration of the project
  • Ability to elicit trust from clients through a professional tone and impeccable manners
  • Passion for CharterUP's mission and intellectual curiosity about CharterUP's business
  • Reliability, consistency, and demonstrated relentless work ethic
  • Willing to be available for fire drills beyond schedule shift
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced environment and maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Superb organizational skills

Location and Travel

  • The contract requires a dispatcher to be on-site in a designated Springfield location. 
  • Eventually there will be an opportunity to manage operations remotely, but other missions will arise that will require heavy travel
  • After this project, employees work remotely full-time or on a hybrid schedule from one of CharterUP's offices in Atlanta, New York City, San Francisco, or Austin (2-3 times a week in the office during spring and fall; winter and summer fully-remote).
