Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:

E-Opala, Hawaii's premier electronics recycling facility, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Manager. As a fast-growing company dedicated to environmental conservation, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to sustainable practices and has a basic understanding of technology, specifically in the field of electronics.

Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day Warehouse Operations: You will oversee and manage the operational activities of our warehouse. This includes organizing and monitoring the flow of incoming and outgoing electronic devices, ensuring efficient use of space, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

2. Data Entry and Quality Assurance: A significant portion of your work will involve double-checking data entry to ensure accuracy and consistency. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining our high standards of accountability and inventory management.

3. Technology Knowledge: While not a specialized technical role, having a basic understanding of different types of computers, CPU chips, and other electronics will be advantageous. This knowledge will assist in identifying and categorizing electronic devices during the sorting and inventory process.

4. Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills is essential for this position. You will be expected to utilize computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and communication purposes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel) and the ability to learn new software programs quickly are highly preferred.

5. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for interacting with team members, customers, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining clear and concise communication channels to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar warehouse or operations management role is required.

- Environmental consciousness and dedication to sustainable practices are highly valued.-

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry, is required.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to adapt to new software programs and quickly learn new technologies.

Streamline and implement new systems

Coordinate billing with accounting Dept.

Screen new employees

Liaisons with overseas buyers

Domestic shipping

Removing assets from system

Making sure orders and locations have pictures

Pay Roll

Scheduling

Data wiping, some software reinstallation, resetting iPhones and iPads

Occasionally meeting with retail customer

Coordinate shipping containers for multiple locations and dealing with customs brokers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,473.78 - $49,946.92 per year
