Sikich's internal administration professionals are responsible for the coordination and facilitation of all administrative operations for the firm offices. Professionals in this field support partners and employees within the office to ensure office procedures and processes are implemented, communicated, and followed through. They also serve as the provider of informal guidance, conduct training for new employees and coordinate local meetings. Ensuring the comfort and seeing to the needs of clients, visitors, recruits and other visitors, the internal administration team is often the firm's frontline.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day planning, problem solving and execution of the following duties:
- Answer incoming calls Firmwide relaying pertinent messages to others while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality.
- Ensure the comfort and see to the needs of clients and visitors visiting the office.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (i.e., FedEx, UPS, etc.),
- Receive deliveries, send packages and sort/deliver mail.
- Provide concierge support services (beverage services set up, catering) as needed.
- Perform general clerical duties (typing, scanning, data entry)
- Act as back up to Office Services generalist.
- Ensure the office environment is always free of clutter and maintained with a professional setting.
- Work collaboratively to provide overflow and backup support for other team members.
- Champion process improvement efforts.
- Be a positive influence for the administrative team and the office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Services Manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to be in office daily
- Prior work experience in an administrative support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Superior organizational and follow-through skills with attention given to the details.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as work cooperatively with all levels of management and employees and contribute as a team member.
- Prioritize, plan, and organize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency.
- Prior experience in a Public Accounting firm or other professional services firm is a plus.
