Description

In this role, you'll be responsible forindependently evaluating, determines the treatment strategies delivers and/ordelegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute orprolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired. to maximize functionin the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, andproductivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, andsensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhancesafety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumentalactivities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and socialparticipation.

Within our facility, you may work withpatients who have:

• Traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries
• Multi-system organ failure
• Chronic/Acute respiratory failure
• Ventilators and require weaning
• Stroke,
• Major Multiple trauma
• Amputation
• Neurological disorders

Qualifications

• To be licensed by the appropriate State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
• CPR certification

Requirements

• At least 2 years of direct patient care experience
• Experience in a multidisciplinary acute care setting
