Summary:
The Nurse Navigator is a patient advocate and is responsible for facilitating and following the patient from point of diagnosis to treatment and then coordinating arrangements for survivorship care or providing quality of life care for patients. The navigator is the contact person for the patient/family and serves as the liaison to all physicians and healthcare staff providing care and support for the patient
