The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for contributing in a wide range of administrative activities supporting the Logistics team. Coordinates the shipping and receiving activities of the facility by taking responsibility for verification of inbound and outbound paperwork, verifying physical inventory, interfacing with truck drivers and acting as a liaison between corporate and local supply chain efforts.
Warehouse Clerk Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checking in trucks/drivers, assigning dock lanes, checking seals.
- Completing shipping and receiving paperwork/Bills of Lading
- Complete receipts in SAP against purchase orders
- Assist in the management of the dock schedule
- Greet and check in visitors and vendors
- Data entry (spreadsheets, SAP)
- Prepare and ship sample orders
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Safely operate fork truck to pick up, transport and stack pallets
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse workplace
- Perform safety checks as needed
- Execute and maintain effective warehouse layout and organization
- Monitor inventory and recommend action for non-usable, slow moving and excess stock
- Operate pallet jack and electric pallet wrapper
- Label finished goods with accuracy•
- Verify accurate inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Two years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- SAP or other Enterprise software experience
- Fluent in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Operate office equipment - printers, copiers, scanners
- Must be able to effectively use the English language, in verbal and written form
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules using English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common internal reports and supporting documents
