Primary responsibilities will include providing instruction and guidance to incoming first-year students, helping students enroll in summer and fall courses using LionPATH, and greeting and checking in students when they arrive at the afternoon ECoS College Advising Meeting. ECoS Student Assistants will gain leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

ECoS Student Assistants must be available for training days (May 18 & 19, 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. daily) and all NSO programs that will take place (May 23 - July 21 and August 15 - 18, 2023). ECoS Student Assistants will be scheduled to work certain days on Monday through Friday during the hours of about 1:45 pm - 5:00 pm, for a total of about 10-15 hours per week. Applicants should be at least a 2nd semester Penn State student in good academic standing. Preference will be given to those pursuing a major in the Eberly College of Science (life science-related majors preferred but not required).

Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and current resume. Review of materials will begin in March 2023 and will continue until positions are filled. Questions about the position should be directed to Natasha Dinsmore or Lori Lauck (nvd9@psu.edu or lmj2@psu.edu).
