**Neurointerventionalist opening - Saginaw, MI**Located 100 miles from Detroit, MIH1 Eligible**Position Details**- Full-time, Permanent- Seeking a US BE/BC neurohospitalist to join Medical Group in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan, the regions most comprehensive hospital with a Level II trauma center. - An independent hospital, medical group board members and executives are members of our community!- Have a current or able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Michigan.- Opportunity to treat a spectrum of neurological disorders. - Work with a strong team of neurologists and neurosurgeons, with neuroradiologists on staff and a solid team of neurological techs for EEGs and EMGs.**About The Medical Group**- The employed physician network of the medical group, is seeking a BC/BE neurointerventional fellowship-trained physician with neuroendovascular training to join an expanding neurosciences program. - This neurology or neurosurgery-trained neurointerventionalist will join a neuroscience team comprised of three neurosurgeons and four medical neurologists, with support from a strong group of neuroradiologists. - The regions busiest emergency department with about 100,000 visits per year. - Ten-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. - Robust hospitalist service provides medical consultative support. - Post-acute care hospital by Mary Free Bed attached to medical groups hospital facilities.- As a Primary Stroke Center, Covenant was recently granted the highest award by the American Stroke Association for providing outstanding stroke care. - Comprehensive Stroke Center status is waiting for you!- State-of-the-art stroke rehabilitation services are provided through a joint venture partnership between the medical group and a Rehabilitation Hospital. - The inpatient rehabilitation program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).- There are several physiatrists on staff to direct rehabilitation care and neuropsychology consultation service available.- A physician-driven and patient-focused organization built on a commitment to set the standards for excellence in health care delivery, community stewardship and professional fulfillment. - The largest hospital-integrated physician group in the Great Lakes Bay Region and consists of more than 175 physicians with subspecialties including cardiology, neurology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and primary care. - Due to increasing volumes and need for improved patient access, this position is a high priority for the organization.- Offers extremely competitive base compensation, productivity and incentive bonus, with professional liability coverage. - Full benefits include: life, health, dental, and vision for the physician and family. - Strives to create a flexible and realistic work-life balance for all our providers. **Forbes ranked Medical Group as the #1 Best Employer in HealthCare in Michigan two years in a row.**- A major teaching hospital to Central Michigan Universitys College of Medicines seven residency programs and medical students.- Has set the standard for hospital medicine programs nationwide.
