JOB DESCRIPTION
The National Director/VP, Facilities Management reports directly to the CEO and provides oversight and management of Hard & Soft Facilities Management (FM) operations for Con-Real’s national accounts. The role is responsible for clearly defining operational performance standards for the system, driving operational consistency across regions, driving client specific compliance excellence, and ensuring client performance indicators (CPIs) & key performance indicators (KPIs) are exceeded across the assigned Con-Real Portfolio. This position is responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient, and profitable management of all applicable client systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for designing and directing an effective Facilities Management organization to deliver agreed service levels within the prescribed budget.
- Reviews strategic plans with clients’ administrators and determines appropriate staffing levels to meet expectations.
- Reviews operating budget reports for all properties. Creates action plans to improve operating cost and efficiencies.
- Develops innovative and integrated programs across all FM systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and reliability.
- Drives change management across all FM systems to embrace technological and human solutions to optimize the client experience in all delivery environments.
- Manages negotiations for contract services in cooperation with purchased and supply services.
- Develops, implements, and reviews facilities management reports for the purpose of improving service levels, reducing cost, increasing efficiencies, tracking appropriate data, and staying ahead of CPIs/KPIs.
- Leads and supports in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, rewarding performance and retention.
- Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Experience with national corporate facilities preferred (large and small, complex, fragmented systems).
-Verifiable Experience with Data Centers.
- Demonstrated success in maintaining regulatory compliance with all FM related systems.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the complex documents. Ability to write reports, manuals.
- Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
- Ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions, quickly.
- Ability to motivate and foster an “ELITE ORGANIZATION”
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Data Analytics
- Working knowledge of architectural and MEP systems.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer certification preferred
- Master's Degree preferred (MBA, MScFM, etc.)
