Movement Gym Counselor

Plans and participates in motor and movement recreational activities for students ages 5-21 with developmental disabilities.

1. Under the direction of the supervisor, develops and implements motor activities that teach and encourage group participation.

1. Provide activities that are appropriate for the functional and physical abilities of the students.

1. Participates and assists in special events as needed.

1. Performs additional related activities as requested by the supervisor.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of an adult/student.
