Position Overview: Freedom Legacy Corp, a reputable direct lender operating across 44 states, is seeking an experienced Investment Mortgage Loan Consultant to join their team. As an Independent Contractor, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with various real estate investment financing needs, including fix and flips, bridge loans, multi-family properties, small commercial properties, and portfolio loans. Your expertise in working with mortgage investors and your in-depth knowledge of investment property financing will be critical in helping clients secure the funding they require to achieve their investment goals.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their investment goals, financial circumstances, and property types. Provide expert guidance on suitable loan options based on their needs.
Loan Application Process: Assist clients in completing loan applications accurately and efficiently. Collect all necessary documentation and information required for the loan submission process.
Loan Product Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Freedom Legacy Corp's loan products and underwriting guidelines. Recommend the most appropriate loan products for different investment scenarios.
Investor Relationships: Leverage your existing network and experience to establish and nurture relationships with mortgage investors, both individual and institutional, to facilitate seamless loan origination and funding processes.
Deal Structuring: Collaborate with clients to structure loan deals that align with their investment strategies. This includes analyzing property values, potential returns, and risk factors.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, property values, and investment opportunities in the regions you serve. Provide insights to clients to help them make informed decisions.
Guidance and Education: Educate clients about the intricacies of investment property financing, market dynamics, and relevant regulations to empower them to make well-informed decisions.
Compliance: Ensure that all loan origination processes adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan applications, and progress. Effectively manage a pipeline of loan applications from inception to closing.
Problem Resolution: Address any concerns or challenges that may arise during the loan origination process. Work collaboratively with internal teams to find effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Significant experience (typically a minimum of 3-5 years) in mortgage lending, with a focus on investment properties and working with mortgage investors.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of various investment property financing options, including fix and flips, bridge loans, multi-family properties, small commercial properties, and portfolio loans.
- Network: Established network of mortgage investors and industry professionals.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, investors, and internal teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze investment opportunities, property values, and potential risks.
- Market Awareness: Up-to-date understanding of real estate market trends and investment opportunities in the relevant regions.
- Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to mortgage lending.
- Organizational Skills: Effective pipeline management and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Independence: Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor, managing your own schedule and tasks.
- Licensing: You will work under our lending license for Investment Loans.
