Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for incoming service calls related to refrigeration systems.
Gather and document relevant information from customers, ensuring accurate and detailed records of each call.
Troubleshoot technical issues with refrigeration systems by proactively identifying problems and offering immediate solutions.
Execute remote troubleshooting procedures and guide customers through necessary actions.
Determine the appropriate course of action for each call, such as dispatching on-site technicians or scheduling maintenance.
Collaborate with field technicians to provide instructions and support for on-site repairs or maintenance.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior technical staff or appropriate departments for further resolution.
Ensure all service calls are accurately logged and closed in a timely manner, adhering to defined procedures and standards.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to refrigeration systems.
Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a relevant technical field is preferred.
Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in refrigeration or HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and their components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
Familiarity with remote monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with a focus on providing efficient and effective solutions.
Exceptional customer service skills, emphasizing empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and remotely, managing incoming service calls from various locations.
Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and other relevant tools.
Flexibility to work in shifts, this position is primarily overnights Sunday through Thursday Night, but is subject to change.
