JOB TITLE/LOCATION:

MicroSoft Teams Administrator – Oxford, CT or Simpsonville, SC

 

DESCRIPTION:

MicroSoft Teams Administrator will maintain daily operations of the telephony systems, provide technical support to users, maintain the link between Salesforce Service Cloud, and ensure the system is capable and functional.   This position will manage system access, build and maintain call flows, troubleshoot and remedy system issues, manage IVR functionality, continuously improve existing phone system functionality, act as a first level liaison with the third-party system provider for reporting and troubleshooting issues, support mobile telephony, support conference room equipment, and administer Microsoft Teams communication systems. Additional responsibilities may include general Help Desk support associated with the procurement, installation, deployment, and maintenance of the server, desktop, and device environments.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Implement a new phone system, including Five9 cloud contact center, for the Dodge business
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve the fixed telephony system and cloud contact centers
  • Installs and tests new versions of the telephony system software, investigates and coordinates the resolution of potential and actual service problems.
  • Prepares and maintains operational documentation for the telephony system
  • Keeps knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging communication technology and industry practices, bringing learning into Dodge
  • Review and implement system software updates, when necessary
  • Gives advice and supports the installation of IS services, or the changing of existing IS services. Delivers the appropriate IS solution/service according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in time, in budget and at quality.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, install, and repair server / desktop hardware and diagnose software issues at all Dodge locations.
  • Build and configure hardware and update software per business requirements and corporate standard.
  • Collaborate with other IT technicians at the remote Dodge facilities as well as within RBC corporate.
  • Provide support for peripherals and accessories to servers / desktops.
  • Support system security and ensure compliance in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Coordinate with RBC corporate IT support on defining and deploying standard device image.
  • Support the procuring, receiving, storage and management of device inventory.
  • Provide support of cellular devices as needed and in coordination with RBC corporate IT.
  • Attendance at work is an essential function of the job

 

EDUCATION: 

  • A bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science is highly desired.  Will also consider those with corresponding experience in Information Technology, or a related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience of relevant work experience

 

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Enthusiasm for improving the IS experience, making it more robust, enjoyable, intuitive, reliable and productive for consumers 
  • Five9 Blended Administrator Certification
  • Microsoft 365 Certified – Teams administrator
  • Manage assign PRI/SIP/Cloud Circuits, porting and DID’s
  • Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to plan, coordinate, and set priorities.
  • Ability to identify simple and complex problems, and in turn, formulate and deploy effective resolutions.
  • Strong in usage of Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
