Will be responsible for bridging the gap between manufacturing floor operations and executive management by optimizing IT-OT integration and aligning operational efficiencies to technology interventions.
IT-OT Integration: Develop and implement strategies to integrate Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. Understand the similarities and differences between IT and OT environments, ensuring effective communication, data exchange, and collaboration between the two.
Shop Floor Experience: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of shop floor operations, including manufacturing processes, assembly lines, material handling, quality control, and workforce management
Technology Infrastructure Management: Bridge the gap of shop floor needs with viable IT/OT solutions and architecture. Advise on the usage, setup, and deployment options of IT infrastructure and OT systems
Cybersecurity: Work closely with IT security team to ensure that critical manufacturing systems are protected from cyber threats, and that the necessary security measures are in place to safeguard sensitive data.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation. Propose and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant performance.
Executive Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to executive management in a clear and concise manner. Translate technical information into actionable insights and recommendations that align with business objectives.
