Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a licensed Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team! A successful candidate will have a proactive attitude and be proficient in testing in a physician office lab setting with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all phases of laboratory testing (pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic)
• Process and prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
• Operate chemistry (Beckman AU 400), hematology (Abbott Cell-Dyn 1700), and special chemistry (Beckman Access 2) analyzers
• Implement quality control and calibration procedures
• Accept results and notify ordering physicians of critical values
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Technician certification
• Previous experience as an MLT or lab assistant in a clinical laboratory setting
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA compliance and safety protocol
• Reliable transportation
