Job Description
Performs all aspects of Laboratory Testing, in include; specimen collections, scheduling, sample processing, analytical testing and equipment maintenance. Processing of test requests for all outpatient & inpatient services. Performs Point of Care, waived, moderate, and high complexity testing. If in a clinic setting will register patients and obtain x-ray images. This position may require travel among all KVH locations.

Qualifications
What is required...
- MA-P or MA-C license from the Washington State Department of Health within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)
- Completion of all science credits that meet the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) for moderate and high complexity testing with certification obtained within six months.
- If performing x-rays, WA Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license
What is preferred...
- Previous experience in a high complexity testing environment
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) Certification
Additional Information
Wage: Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience and level of education.
- MLS currently starts at $30.14/hour and goes up to $45.68/hour
- MLT currently starts at $24.58/hour and goes up to $37.26/hour
