Duties/Responsibilities for Mechanical Drafter:

• Assist engineering staff in the development of Solidworks models and drawings.
• Utilize a variety of software to design/draw tools and fixtures for manufacturing and review for quality and accuracy.
• Convert high usage Anvil parts/drawings to Solidworks
• Perform drawing revisions and BOM updates when a single change affects many part numbers
• Create additional standard design library models, create, and modify drawings per redline changes via Engineering Change Requests.
• Coordinate corrections to changes in design with shop and/or engineering team.

Required Technical Skills and Abilities:

• Strong Solidworks modeling experience, including assembly/weldments/virtual techniques.
• 2D drafting and Driveworks experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent communication and time management skills; specifically, the ability to prioritize tasks, organization and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 3 years of mechanical drafting experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work at a desk for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
