Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a Marketing Associate who also enjoys the challenges of a Help Desk. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with management of corporate websites, changing and publishing web pages, assisting with social media page updates, and daily electronic communications. Our Marketing Associate also works closely with the IT team and assists with general IT Helpdesk tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with website management and web page creations using WordPress tools.
- Assist with Web design, formatting, styling of text, images, and web pages.
- Assist with publishing of marketing materials and tracking posts on Social Media sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Assist with publishing videos/recordings on YouTube.
- Assist with periodic client email distribution using Ontraport.
- Assist with setup and administration of Zoom meetings.
- Provide Helpdesk/Application and Desktop Management support.
- Assist with basic installation and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, phones, etc.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred but not required; 1+ years related experience and/or training in computer operations.
- Web Design certification and experience is highly desired.
- Experience working with such Marketing tools as Ontraport, Wordpress, Adobe, and other text and images formatting tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to make WordPress edits and manipulations.
- Experience with use of WordPress plugins (Cornerstone, Aioseo, Hustle).
- Experience with Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop.
- Experience with publishing and monitoring of posts.
- Experience with Ontraport mail distribution tools is a plus.
- Experience with Zoom meeting setup, distribution of notifications, and with capture of recordings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively organize and keep track of multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with Screen Connect tool (would be desirable but not necessary).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in group problem solving situations.
- Responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets and follows through on commitments.
- Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure.
