Marketing & Consumer Insights Intern

Internships with Allianz Partners consist of a ten-week program focused on giving students the opportunity to gain business knowledge and experience. The program generally follows a project management methodology that allows each intern to manage a project within a specific department. In addition, interns participate in lunch-and-learn, networking and mentoring opportunities. The program begins Monday, June 5, 2023, and ends Friday, August 11, 2023. The work hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Marketing and Consumer Insights Intern

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct competitive research that includes competitor's product offering in various channels.
• Update Allianz market share.
• Design, tabulate and analyze consumer surveys to learn trends, behaviors and intentions of non-customers
• Collect secondary research regarding the travel and financial services industry
• Report out findings
• Conduct special projects as directed by the Marketing & Consumer Insights Manager

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Must be a college junior or senior, pursuing a degree. The preferred major(s) for this position: Marketing, Research, Business Admin
• Ability to build a trusting rapport and relationship with internal and external customers.
• Must be inquisitive and enjoy collecting facts and data and synthesizing the data into actionable recommendations
• Flexibility: ability to adapt to on-going change and work in a fast-paced, deadline intensive environment.
• Excellent communication skills: oral and written.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet and/or exceed expectations.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts and reporting procedures
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as needed with team and other departments.
• Ability to apply feedback, take initiative and be accountable for work produced. • Strong interpersonal skills.
• PC Skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
