Manager Of Manufacturing And Facilities

Responsible for leading the manufacture of our products, while upholding the highest quality and efficiency standards.

• Lead and develop multiple departments to include: Chemical and Hardware assembly, Machine Operation, Maintenance and Facilities.
• Deliver quality products.
• Seek ways to improve efficiencies, decrease scrap, and cut costs of indirect materials. Make recommendations for improvements to the Director of Operations.
• Develop, implement and manage a facility and equipment management program including preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements.
• Schedule production and facilities work to be completed by original due dates. Proactively report all instances when due dates cannot be met. Determine the need for overtime, temporary help, and/or shift changes to complete work load on schedule.
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition. Equipment must be safe, producing good quality products, and producing them efficiently. Identify and correct any instances that are not up to expectation.
• Sustain labor efficiencies at 100% of standard (Actual Vs. Standard). When not achieved, determine reasons and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Maintain a minimum of 87% direct labor efficiency (Direct Labor Vs. Total Clock time). When not achieved, determine reasons why and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Minimize scrap and keep scrap within budget. Report instances where scrap is out of line and work to correct problems.
• Order all necessary supplies for each department's needs.
• Manage outside contractors or service companies ensuring that work performed meets requirements and specifications.
• Review all C.C.B. packets for operational acceptance. Report any changes needed and complete all necessary tasks for the new products or revisions to flow through manufacturing processes without incidence. Report when bills of material are not accurate.
• Responsible for maintaining and working within the guidelines of ISO standards.
• Manage the maintenance of all facility and production equipment.

Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 based on experience
