As part of our growing Quantitative Solutions team, you will work with our clients, including some of the most iconic financial services companies globally, as they reshape Enterprise Risk and Quantitative services for the future.
We are seeking an experienced Model Risk Manager, who will perform and manage independent model validation/development of various analytical models.
How you will contribute:
- Assessing the conceptual soundness and applicability of the mathematical/statistical theories
- Evaluating data inputs and assumptions
- Testing model computational accuracy and performing outcomes analysis (such as back-testing and benchmarking)
- Analytical models requiring validation and effective challenge may include BSA/AML, Fraud, OFAC, stress testing, scorecard, compliance/regulatory, pricing/valuation, regression, and economic capital models.
- Managing, coaching, and reviewing the work performed by other consultants
- Managing engagements from initial scoping to completion
- Being the primary communicator of the engagement team
- Supporting business development activities, including proposals, and building relationships with clients
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to write and communicate complex observations into reports and present them to clients
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with particular attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or other quantitative fields
- 5 years or more of experience with data analysis, quantitative analysis, and model validation/development activities with financial services institutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to review, validate, or develop models related to one or more of the following strongly preferred: market, credit, operational, liquidity risk capital, ERM, insurance models, stress testing
- Experience with BSA/AML, Fraud and/or regulatory compliance models
- Competency in programming languages such as SAS, R, Alteryx, or Python
- Prior experience at a consulting and/or professional services firm
- Professional Certification such as CFE or CAMS
